What Is CMSLI Charge | Is it Legit?

I got charged for the new unknown CMSLI Charge in my last month’s credit card transaction in India. After confirming with the bank they also don’t know about the exact reason for CMSLI Charge.

So, I took the responsibility into my own hands and went to the internet to do some research, but all ended up in vain as I got nothing.

But, I got charged for the same CMSLI Charge transaction this month and I figured out why I have been charged for CMSLI Charge on my credit card.

What is CMSLI Charge?

CMSLI Charge is for the cash management system charges. Banks apply these charges for ATM transactions. When you cross your free limited transactions in a month then you will face these charges.

In metro tire-1 cities the free transaction limit is 3 cash transactions and in tire-2 cities the free transaction limit is 5.

If you cross the free limit then you will be charged Rs 21/transaction after crossing the limit.

How To Avoid Any Such Fraudulent Charges?

If you don’t remember using any debit or credit card for transactions, then you need to cross-check as the charge can be a fraud.

Many times hackers try to act as support team executives and may send you such unknown charges on your registered mobile number or can influence credit card statements.

To avoid any suspicious activities, keep in regular check with your banks so that you are guided with all the service charges imposed by the bank.

You can also deactivate your current credit/debit card to avoid any further charges.
